3192 - Introduction to Meditation: Cultivating Everyday Mindfulness

Course Description: Do you want to learn how to meditate, or expand upon your current meditation practice? Then this is the course for you.

Over the course of six sessions, you’ll be introduced to the fundamentals of mindfulness meditation and supported in building a regular practice. Each week emphasizes learning by doing - exploring and being guided through a variety of meditation techniques. You’ll also be encouraged to practice at home, helping you discover which approaches best fit your needs and schedule.

The skills you develop are designed to help you manage stress and anxiety, become more present and less reactive, and apply mindfulness in daily life. Research shows that a regular meditation practice can reduce stress and anxiety, improve focus and attention, support better sleep, and cultivate greater self-compassion and gratitude—both toward yourself and others.

In this small-group setting, you’ll learn practical techniques while also having space to ask questions, share reflections, and deepen your understanding.
